Why is it called a trucker hat?

A quick and not very well vetted google search will tell you that "the trucker hat came about in it's true form in the early 1970's as a promotional give-away from U.S. feed or farming supply companies to farmers, truck drivers (hence the name), or other rural workers, as companies began to realize the cap's potential for advertising and promotional."

Now, I have conflicted feelings about trucker hats. But, as I had said before, I feel less conflicted when it has a Storied logo on it.

What is good enough for farming supply companies is good enough for me!

Be the next person to book an interview, or buy a gift card, and I will throw in this trucker hat to sweeten the deal!

And to the winner, I say hats off to you!
